YouTube Originals Are No Longer Exclusive to YouTube Premium Subscribers

They will be available to all viewers free-of-charge, supported by ads

YouTube sent an email to its YouTube Premium subscribers advising them of changes that are coming involving YouTube Originals.

As the Google-owned video site revealed during its Brandcast event at New York’s Radio City Music Hall in May, after Sept. 24, YouTube Originals will no longer be exclusive to YouTube Premiums subscribers.

Instead, YouTube Originals will be available to all YouTube viewers, free-of-charge, supported by revenue from ads.

YouTube Premium subscribers will be able to see the content ad-free.
