Navigation and entertainment without switching apps

Waze can now help drivers navigate and entertain them simultaneously following an integration with YouTube Music.

Lawrence Kennedy, product manager for YouTube Music, said in a blog post that YouTube Premium and YouTube Music Premium subscribers will have access to all of their albums, playlists and personalized mixes via the Waze application.

The integration began rolling out Wednesday and will soon be active in all 50 markets where both YouTube Music and Waze are accessible.

Waze users can download the YouTube Music app (Android or iOS) and then, while in the Waze app, tap the music note to select YouTube Music as their audio app, or do so via settings, audio player, show audio player.
