The chain uses AI to create a better customer experience

Sherif Mityas, the chief experience officer of TGI Fridays, says technology is doing a lot for the casual dining chain. But one thing it won’t do: replace the restaurant’s world-renowned bartenders.

We caught up with Mityas at the Adweek Elevate event earlier this month. Recently promoted from CIO, to overseeing the customer experience at more than 900 restaurants in more than 60 countries, he tells us how TGI Fridays is using AI and data to make the dining experience better for both the customer, and the brand.
