WhatsApp recently added the ability to add contacts using QR codes. Our guide will show you how to scan a user’s QR code from within the WhatsApp application.

Step 1: Tap “Settings” in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Tap the QR code icon to the right of your name.
Step 3: Tap “Scan” at the bottom of the screen.
Step 4: Point your device’s camera at the other user’s QR code to have the app scan it.
