WhatsApp: Here's How to Create a Text Post in Status

These posts disappear after 24 hours

WhatsApp’s Status feature is similar to Instagram Stories and Facebook Stories in that it allows users to share posts with their contacts that will disappear after 24 hours. WhatsApp allows users to share photos and videos with their contacts, as well as posts containing nothing but text. Our guide will show you how to create a text post in the Status feature.

Note: These screenshots were captured in the WhatsApp application on iOS.

Step 1: Tap “Status” in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

Step 2: Tap the pencil icon to create a new text post.

Step 3: Type the text you’d like your post to say.

Step 4 (optional): If you want to change the post’s font, tap the “T” in the top-right corner of the screen.
