WhatsApp Chief Business Officer Neeraj Arora Is Leaving the Messaging App

He came on board in November 2011 after four years with Google

WhatsApp chief business officer Neeraj Arora revealed in a Facebook post that he is leaving the Facebook-owned messaging application.

Co-founders Brian Acton and Jan Koum left WhatsApp in September 2017 and this past April, respectively.

Kate Clark of TechCrunch reported that there had been speculation that Arora would succeed Koum as CEO.

Arora joined WhatsApp in November 2011 after spending four years in corporate development roles with Google.

He did not indicate his future plans in his Facebook post, only saying he is “taking some time off to recharge and spend time with family.”
