Facebook is testing a new application, but unless you’re a celebrity or you manage social media for one, you won’t be included in the social network’s test pool.
AllThingsD reported on the app, which enables celebrities or their staffers to monitor mentions on Facebook via mobile and quickly respond to fans, if they so choose.
A Facebook spokesperson confirmed the test to AllThingsD, saying:
We are currently testing some mobile features designed to help public figures interact with their fans.
