Users Can Now Block Alcohol and Gambling Ads From Google

This new control will first appear on YouTube

Google is giving users more of a say in what pops up on their screens. The company has partnered with the International Alliance for Responsible Drinking to limit ads that could be damaging to certain audiences.

This new control in Ad Settings will give users the option to limit alcohol ads, with gambling as an additional option. While the tech company has already rolled out ad-limiting features such as Mute This Ad and considers regional age restrictions when displaying content, this feature is an extra step in allowing the user to control their experience.
