Updated: Glamour Wins Big at ASMEs

Condé Nast’s Glamour took magazine journalism’s top honor, Magazine of the Year, at the National Magazine Awards. Given for the first time this year, the Magazine of the Year award was designed to recognize magazines that use print and digital media to fulfill their editorial mission.
 
The nod for Glamour was a nice victory for editor Cynthia Leive, who lost her longtime executive editor Jill Herzig to the top editor job at Hearst’s Redbook this week.
