Twitter Salutes Health Workers and Others on the Front Lines for World Health Day

The social network teamed up with the WHO on a Q&A

Twitter marked World Health Day Tuesday by teaming up with the World Health Organization on a question-and-answer session covering the most commonly asked questions about the coronavirus pandemic.

The social network said its internal teams analyzed over 300 million public tweets and 6 million questions from users around the world to ensure that its time with the WHO was well spent.

Hashtag-triggered emoji were also released for tweets containing #HealthyAtHome, #StayHome and #WorldHealthDay.

Finally, Twitter asked users to take a page from daily salutes to medical workers and others on the front lines in real life and do so on the social network by tweeting about their stories and using the clapping...
