Twitter Gets Into the MLB Livestreaming Ballgame for 2018

The social network will simulcast one weekday afternoon clash each week

Major League Baseball’s package of 25 weekday-afternoon games available exclusively via Facebook Watch starts Wednesday afternoon (weather permitting, as always) with the Philadelphia Phillies visiting the New York Mets (1:10 p.m. ET), and Twitter gets its turn to toe the MLB rubber Thursday.

The Texas Rangers at the Oakland Athletics at 3:35 p.m. ET Thursday will be the first game of a renewed partnership between Twitter and the league, which will include one livestreamed weekday day game per week throughout the 2018 season.
