Time Inc.'s Lang Makes First Hire

New communications exec comes from News Corp.

Time Inc.’s Laura Lang has made her first executive hire since becoming CEO in November, filling the job of chief spokesperson. Teri Everett is joining the company as executive vp of corporate communications. She’ll start March 5 and report to Lang.

Everett spent the past 11 years in corporate communications at Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. Everett is the second top spokesperson to join the Time Warner fold. Gary Ginsberg, also a News Corp. vet, is head spokesman for Time Warner.
