TikTok continued its Health Heroes Relief Fund efforts with Wednesday’s news that it will donate $1 million apiece to 10 academic institutions that serve underrepresented students with programs focused on public health and professions in the medical and healthcare fields.
The funds are earmarked for undergraduate and graduate scholarships for students pursuing medical careers or other health related fields, with the aim of ensuring the success of future Black, Latinx and Indigenous health heroes.
