TikTok released a new software-development kit Monday in order to enable third-party applications and developers to integrate with the video creation app’s platform for the first time ever.
The Share to TikTok SDK is part of the company’s new TikTok for Developers program, and TikTok said in a blog post that integration gives users of third-party apps the ability to upload videos directly to TikTok from the editing platforms of those apps.
TikTok wrote, “This new Share to TikTok feature enriches the content available on TikTok, diversifies the types of videos users can discover and offers more editing choices for users to explore in addition to TikTok’s built-in creative tools.
