TikTok will donate $2 million to The Actors Fund Covid-19 Emergency Financial Assistance program.
The company said the funds will go toward critical financial assistance for those in the entertainment and performing arts community who are in immediate need.
TikTok said in a blog post, “Supporting the performing arts industry and helping our community tackle the challenges brought about by the coronavirus pandemic is an ongoing focus for us, and this donation is just one of many steps we’re taking to assist communities in a time of need.
