TikTok marked U.K Black History Month by reaching a multiyear partnership with the Black Tech Fest digital conference, under which the video creation platform will become an innovation partner and help boost awareness of the event by livestreaming sessions and promoting it on its platform.
Black Tech Fest was founded by Colorintech and Informa Tech, the organizers of London Tech Week. The event is set (virtually) for Oct. 13 through 15.
The goal of Black Tech Fest is to help Black professionals expand their network and influence while celebrating inclusion and allyship in the technology sector.
TikTok head of business marketing for Europe Trevor Johnson will be a keynote speaker at the event, and TikTok will host a panel session during which leading Black creators will discuss how they have used the platform to build successful businesses.
