November was—not surprisingly—dominated by political discussions on Facebook and Instagram after GOP candidate Donald Trump shockingly upset Democrat Hillary Clinton. More interestingly, the digital platforms really shed light on what was on the minds of women.
In addition to Donald and Hillary, according to Facebook IQ, ladies' chief topics were Joe Biden, holidays food, the theatrical release of Beauty and the Beast, Doctor Strange, Christmas, Black Friday and Veterans Day. Much of the banter looked to the past, showing the social channels' ability to draw out nostalgia from their 300 million U.S.
