Spotify chose Latinx and Hispanic Heritage Month as the occasion to debut its first-ever augmented reality portal lens on Snapchat.
The lens is part of Spotify’s “Lo Nuestro es Arte” campaign, and it enables Snapchatters to visit a virtual Latinx art gallery via the application.
Opening the lens in world view brings Snapchatters into the gallery, fully rendered in AR, where they can walk around and explore 15 pieces of art, tapping on each one to see another piece from the artist.
