Facebook Details Social Landmarks In 25 Cities Around The World With Check-In Data

What do Chicago’s Wrigley Field, Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris, and T.G.I. Friday’s in Oslo, Norway, have in common? They were all the top destinations in their respective cities in terms of check-ins on third-party applications using Facebook’s application-programming interface since its August 2010 launch, according to a new post from the social network, Social Landmarks Around the World.

They were all the top destinations in their respective cities in terms of check-ins on third-party applications using Facebook’s application-programming interface since its August 2010 launch, according to a new post from the social network, Social Landmarks Around the World.

Facebook anonymously aggregated all check-in data from the following cities, excluding transportation hubs such as airports, train stations, and bus stations:
