Snapchat is releasing a new feature on iOS and Android Dec. 18 that enables users to add their faces to popular memes and create short, looping videos.
Cameo will make its debut with 150 meme options, and Snapchat said more will be added weekly.
If two Snapchatters have Cameo set up, they can team up while creating videos.
Starting Dec. 18, Snapchatters with access to Cameo must start by taking a selfie. This can be done by opening the chat dialog, tapping the smile icon next to the chat bar and tapping the blue plus button at the bottom.
