Snapchat teamed up with artist Damien Hirst on a new augmented reality lens inspired by his spin paintings.
The lens enables Snapchatters to create their own spin paintings by pouring virtual paint as their canvases spin, resulting in millions of possible creations.
Completed Snaps can be shared to Snapchat’s Our Story, creating a virtual gallery of users’ work.
Social justice organization Partners in Health is also a partner in the initiative, with Snap Inc. supporting its Covid-19 relief efforts.
