The rest of the world can now “sling” their “shots,” as Facebook announced the global release of photo- and video-sharing application Slingshot, which debuted in the U.S. last week.

Slingshot650The rest of the world can now “sling” their “shots,” as Facebook announced the global release of photo- and video-sharing application Slingshot, which debuted in the U.S. last week.

Slingshot allows users to share photos and videos with their friends, under one condition: Users will not be able to see shots from their friends until they sling something back in return.

The app is now available globally for iOS and Android devices.

The announcement of Slingshot’s global availability came in the form of a blog post:
