Could Facebook be aiming to fill the void that will be left when Google Reader is shuttered at the end of June? Developer Tom Waddington thinks so, based on evidence he spotted in the social network’s code.
Waddington wrote on his blog that he first discovered mentions of RSS feeds in Facebook’s code a few weeks ago, adding that new entries include RSS feeds for users, with each feed having multiple entries, as well as subscriber lists.
