Pinterest Kicks Off Make a Statement Mask Challenge

Top creators shared their designs and how they arrived at them

Pinterest teamed up with some of the top creators on its platform on the Make a Statement Mask challenge, in collaboration with 72andSunny, aimed at encouraging Pinners to wear face masks during the coronavirus pandemic by turning those masks into vehicles of self-expression.

Creators including Archel Bernard, Gigi Burris, Kerin Rose Gold and Safiya Jihan designed one-of-a-kind masks, which were featured under Pinterest’s Today tab, along with instructions on how to follow suit.

Celebrities including Shea Couleé, Ugo Mozie, Rico Nasty and Curtis Roach took part, as well, showcasing masks they created on their respective social channels.
