Periscope Users Can Now Connect to Their Facebook and Google Accounts

The update makes it easier for users of Twitter's livestreaming app to find other users they may know

Periscope now allows users to connect to their Facebook and Google accounts in order to find users they may know on the Twitter-owned livestreaming application.

To do this, users can head to their Periscope profile within the mobile app and tap “Connected Accounts.” After an account has been connected, users will begin seeing broadcast suggestions based on their contacts who are also on Periscope.

In addition, once an account has been connected, it can be used to login to Periscope at a later time.

Finally, once a user connects their Facebook account, they can choose to share their livestreams to Facebook before they go live.
