Older Photos and Videos Can Now Be Added to Instagram Stories

Users were previously limited to content that was 24 hours old or less

Instagram users can now fire up the way-back machine when selecting photos and videos for their Stories.

The Facebook-owned photo- and video-sharing network announced in a blog post that all photos and videos from users’ camera rolls can now be added to Instagram Stories.

Users were previously limited to content that was 24 hours old or less.

Instagram said it will automatically suggest a new sticker to add context on when older photos or videos were taken, and users can choose to rotate, resize or remove the new sticker altogether before sharing their Stories.
