NYT Still Undecided on Pay Wall

For those who question why The New York Times Co. has not yet made a decision on paid content, Martin Nisenholtz had an answer Tuesday. The company’s senior vice president for digital operations responded that the stakes are extremely high for NYT.com, and that “we need to be very certain when we pull the trigger.”
 
“Making the right decision is more important than making a quick decision,” Nisenholtz said during the UBS Global Media and Communications Conference in New York City.
