Nielsen Social Content Ratings, Week of July 10: Winter Is Here

MLB's Home Run Derby and All-Star Game topped the sports chart

Winter is here for the Nielsen Social Content Ratings, as the season premiere of Game of Thrones ruled the week of July 10 in terms of total interactions on Facebook and Twitter.

The HBO drama tallied 5.095 million interactions across the two social networks, easily outdistancing The 25th ESPYS on ABC (1.845 million) and VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta (596,000).

The Major League Baseball All-Star festivities topped the sports chart for the week, with the 2017 Home Run Derby on ESPN, ESPN Deportes and ESPN2 totaling 1.845 million interactions across Facebook and Twitter, followed by the 2017 MLB All-Star Game (1.116 million).

The men’s final of tennis’ Wimbledon Championships volleyed its way into the third spot for ESPN and ESPN Deportes, with 655 million interactions across the two social networks.
