New York Times Styles Veteran Stuart Emmrich Named Editor of Vogue.com

He will oversee digital content and report directly to Anna Wintour

Condé Nast said today it has named Stuart Emmrich as Vogue.com’s first editor.

Emmrich, a longtime style and travel journalist, was most recently an assistant managing editor for the Los Angeles Times’ Lifestyle section for roughly a year after spending nearly 17 years at The New York Times as Styles editor. Emmrich will oversee Vogue.com’s digital content and report directly to editor in chief Anna Wintour.

Emmrich has also been a senior editor at Time magazine, an executive editor at SmartMoney and a reporter at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
