David Pogue is leaving The New York Times to lead a major expansion of Yahoo's consumer technology coverage.

Pogue has been a fixture in the consumer tech field for 25 years, most recently as a columnist for the Times. He’s also a best-selling how-to author and Emmy-winning correspondent on CBS Sunday Morning. His hire is another coup for Yahoo, which has enjoyed a string of positive press lately, and its second of late from the Times after Megan
