National Geographic debuted a new series on Instagram Live this week, Around the World Live.
Filipe DeAndrade will anchor Around the World Live, which will focus on a diverse grouping of ecosystems and what makes them unique and important to conserve.
Guests will call in from locations such as the Concordia research station in Antarctica (a scientist for the European Space Agency) and the Ol Pejeta rhino sanctuary in Kenya.
Nat Geo said Around the World Live is the first of three new series it is debuting, and it will be joined in the coming weeks by Facebook Live series Drones Live, which will feature stunning landscapes and environments from an aerial perspective, and Underwater Live, also on Facebook Live, which will bring viewers underwater in real-time.
