MPA Announces Mid-West Magazine Fire Sale
Do you happen to live in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, or Ohio (or maybe just passing through on a summer vacay)? If so get ye to a newsstand! The Magazine Publishers of America (MPA), the trade association for consumer magazines, has announced that it is partnering with supercenter chain Meijer to try and save the magazine industry from total demise! Kidding! We’ve been watching too much NBC coverage of the Olympics this weekend and it’s making us dramatic.
What they are doing is offering customers a $2 discount off their next purchase at Meijer when they buy two or more magazines in a single shopping trip from August 21 to September 6.
