Microsoft Introduces PowerApps for Quickly Creating Business Apps

Microsoft PowerApps allows users to create business apps using a Microsoft Office-like experience, and share them with their coworkers.

Microsoft has introduced PowerApps, which will allow business employees, developers and IT professionals to create and share business apps with their coworkers or teams ‘within minutes.’

For employees, PowerApps allows users to create apps in a Microsoft Office-like experience, and contains templates for getting started. Users can connect PowerApps to cloud services including Office 365, Salesforce, Dropbox and OneDrive (among others), as well as on-premises systems like SharePoint, Oracle databases and more.

Users can share these PowerApps like they would share documents, by entering a coworker’s email address.
