Michael Hirsh Resigns From Politico After Posting Address of White Nationalist on Facebook

"They crossed a line in ways that the publication will not defend."

A Facebook post by Politico national editor Michael Hirsh led to his resignation from the publication today. In the post, first reported by Daily Caller, Hirsh included two addresses for white nationalist Richard Spencer while writing “Stop whining about Richard B. Spencer, Nazi, and exercise your rights as decent Americans.”

In a follow-up to a comment on the post, Hirsh clarified his intentions in posting the address, writing, “I wasn’t thinking of a fucking letter, Doug.
