Social networking platforms will once again play a big part in Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game and related activities, which will take place in Cleveland this season.
On Gatorade All-Star Workout Day Monday, the league enlisted artist Dave Cicirelli to create what it calls a one-of-its-kind Infinity Cube.
This space, installed underneath Progressive Field, home of the Cleveland Indians and site of the All-Star festivities, will shine lights on players in a manner that helps “bring their outsized bodies to life.”
Some of the content created via the Infinity Cube will be tailored specifically for social platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, while some will be created for players and teams to share via their accounts.
