Madonna: Criticized for "Christ-bashing"
Quite honestly, we’re surprised it even took this long for the howls of protest to come out of the Catholic League.
Nonetheless, come they have.
Knock off the Christ-bashing,” Catholic League president Bill Donohue said in a statement Monday. “It’s just pathetic.”
Donohue, was referring to Madonna on the cross at the Forum last night. He’s fulminator-in-chief for the Catholic League, which contrary to its name does not actually offer Christian vs. Christian sporting events, but rather usually attacks gays and progressives.
