LinkedIn added two new conversation-sparking features Wednesday: photo tagging and the ability to add videos to messages.
Senior director of product management Pete Davies said in a blog post that members who post photos can now tag people in them, writing, “The world seems smaller and your community a little tighter when you let people know who is who.”
Videos can now be included in messages, with Davies writing, “Millions of members have posted videos and shared them with their connections or in groups: sharing ideas, experiences or simply a view into their working life.”
LinkedIn also tweaked its mobile application, moving the post button to the bottom-center of the screen and the message button to the top-right corner.
