LinkedIn CMO Shannon Brayton Is Leaving at the End of the Year

She will be succeeded by Melissa Selcher

LinkedIn chief marketing officer Shannon Brayton is stepping down at the end of the year, with current vice president of brand marketing and communications Melissa Selcher set to step into the role.

The company declined comment on Brayton’s departure.

Brayton said in a LinkedIn post revealing her decision that she will take time off to spend with family before deciding on her next move.

She joined the professional network in September 2010 as vp of corporate communications before ascending to the CMO position in April 2015.
