KLM is the first airline partner to be integrated with Facebook Messenger.

The airline has always been quick to embrace social media, enabling travelers to book tickets via Facebook and Twitter in February 2014 and often scoring well on Socialbakers’ Socially Devoted customer-service index.

Facebook vice president of messaging products David Marcus announced in a post that KLM passengers can use the application to access itineraries, updates, check-in notifications and boarding passes, as well as to rebook flights and communicate with KLM.
