John Mancini for the past few years served as a senior director of digital news gathering for NBC News. His career spans back to the 1990s, during which time he launched for Village Voice Media alt-weekly spinoff the Long Island Voice.
In a few weeks, Mancini will begin overseeing Quartz’s global coverage, which encompasses Quartz India, Quartz Africa as well as offices in London and Hong Kong.
