Instagram’s Guides Feature Branches Out to Places, Posts, Products

Instagram is expanding the Guides feature it debuted in May.

When Guides first debuted, during the early stages of the pandemic, the focus was on wellness and mental health-related content and enabling users to easily discover recommendations, tips and other content from creators, organizations, public figures and publishers.

Instagram said in a blog post Tuesday, “After seeing the community’s response and requests for increased availability, we’re expanding Guides to everyone and making them easier to create.”

Guides can now be used to find, curate and share places, posts and products from people’s favorite accounts on Instagram.
