More than 50,000 creators around the world are getting access to badges for their Instagram Live videos.

Instagram is also expanding its beta test of ads on its IGTV long-form video destination to more creators in the U.S.

Badges enable creators to monetize their videos and strengthen their connections with fans.

Fans who pay for badges will see them displayed next to their comments during videos and give them other benefits, such as addition to the creator’s list of badge holders and access to a special heart.
