Advertising on Instagram has exploded, with the Facebook-owned photo- and video-sharing network reporting that it now tallies more than 1 million monthly advertisers, five times more than the 200,000 it had at the same time in 2016.
Those business profiles will soon boast new functionality, as Instagram announced in its blog post that it will add the ability for users to book services directly from business profiles “later this year,” sharing a preview of the feature:
