Hulu’s Head of Development Exits

Charlotte Koh leaves as NewFronts presentation nears

Hulu’s head of original programming development, Charlotte Koh, is leaving the company. The news was first reported by VideoInk.

No details around the departure were provided by Hulu, and the exit is puzzling especially given the timing. (Hulu’s NewFronts presentation is scheduled for Wednesday, April 30, in New York.)

Koh’s fingerprints were all over Hulu’s slate of original programming, a roster that includes heavily sponsored content like Chipotle’s Farmed and Dangerous, Seth Meyers’ The Awesomes and The Wrong Mans, a crime comedy co-produced by the BBC.

Prior to joining Hulu in January 2011, Koh was svp of business development for Marvel Studios and served in an executive capacity at Fox Searchlight.
