As the pandemic has forced more and more companies to fast-track planned digital transformations, one tech giant is undergoing its own tech upgrades.

During Adweek’s Mediaweek event this week, Salesforce’s Michael Andrew, vp of data, AI and personalization explained that the company’s digital transformation was catalyzed by pandemic disruptions, even though Salesforce was constantly looking at overhauling its own internal tech stack and data capabilities—the same way it did for its client businesses.

Accelerating the mission

That mission was accelerated during the pandemic, when, like most other companies, Salesforce was forced to shift its sprawling physical operation to a virtual setup.
