While Instagram is becoming a bigger advertising platform, marketers can still sign content deals with celebrities to work around paying the app for promos. So Zefr dug through celebrities' Instagram engagement data to see which brands are getting the best bang for their buck.

The video-tech company created a list of the top five celebs for brands to partner with: Selena Gomez came in No. 1, followed by Kendall Jenner, Taylor Swift, Kylie Jenner and Leo Messi—who, as an athlete, represents a clear outlier in the group.
