Here's How Cord Cutters Can Still Watch Election Night Coverage

If there was ever an election to inspire cord-cutting, it's this one. While some of you may have run the numbers before deciding to consciously uncouple from your cable provider, others may have simply ripped the cord out of the wall in frustration after watching one of the presidential debates. Either way, here's where you can find your fix Tuesday night without crawling back to your cable company: BuzzFeed: The forever home of listicles, quizzes and cat videos, BuzzFeed News will produce a full election night special, hosted exclusively on Twitter. "We're going to be doing this live from inside the platform that is the beating heart of the election," BuzzFeed's Ben Smith said in a statement. Facebook Live: If you've been watching Trump Tower Live, you already know how to find livestreaming election coverage on Facebook, but several news organizations will produce election coverage on the social platform, including ABC News (starting at 7 p.m. ET), CNN Politics (9 a.m. ET), The Washington Post (7 p.m. ET), The New York Times (4:30 p.m. ET), PBS NewsHour (8 p.m. ET) and Univision. AJ+: After shutting down cable channel Al Jazeera America earlier this year, digital service AJ+ will also stream coverage on Facebook. Vox: The Vox Media Inc. site will stream its coverage on Facebook. Liz Plank will anchor from New York's Javits Center, where Hillary Clinton will have her election night headquarters. The Washington Post: Coverage will stream on Facebook, The Post's website and news app as WaPo attempts the most ambitious election night live broadcast by a publisher ever. It will feature multiple camera locations and reporting from nearly a dozen Post journalists. NowThis: Ditto on Facebook. OZY: Partnering with Wired.com and streaming on Facebook. Hosted by Carlos Watson beginning at 6 p.m., guests include Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian and Danai Gurira, star of AMC's The Walking Dead. YouTube: The hip millennials at Bloomberg and PBS will stream live coverage on YouTube, alongside The Young Turks, MTV News, NBC News and Telemundo, among others. ABC News Digital: ABC promises plenty of options for cord-cutters who may prefer not to sit back and simply watch a single stream of coverage. ABC will offer multiple livestreams, including interactive videos and 360 videos at polling places and election night parties, as well as analysis anchored by Dan Harris, Amna Nawaz and LZ Granderson. Anchored coverage begins at 7 p.m. ET at ABCNews.com, on mobile and social. CBSN: CBS News' streaming network will begin its free streaming coverage at 6 a.m. ET Tuesday, and you can find it at CBSNews.com/live, as well as Apple TV, Roku and Amazon Fire TV. Yahoo: Coverage anchored by Yahoo global news anchor Katie Couric and columnist Matt Bai begins at 6:45 p.m. ET, with traditional reporting on election returns, as well as features including a "kids' color map," where 16 children will color in the states as they are called—and may offer their own reactions to the election as it unfolds. But if TV is your thing, there will be no shortage of over-the-air coverage available from ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and PBS. Most networks will begin coverage at 7 p.m. ET.
