Hearst Releases Digital Circulation Numbers

Tops Condé in digital-only subscriptions

Yesterday, Hearst released its numbers for paid digital subscriptions on tablets and e-readers, WWD reported. And while its monthly digital circulation is lower than that of rival Condé Nast, it’s actually selling more digital-only subscriptions.

The publisher said that it now has a monthly circulation of 300,000 digital-only titles, which are sold through the Apple iTunes store, Zinio Newsstand, Barnes & Noble’s Nook Book Store, and other platforms. (Hearst sells its digital and print subscriptions separately and doesn’t offer free digital access to print subscribers.)
