Since a Jan. 27 FishbowlNY item headlined “Journalism Student Decides New York Times Is Not for Her” turned out to be one of our most read and discussed posts of 2016, we decided to check back with Hannah Gordon (pictured) at year’s end. In the original post, we described how the St. Bonaventure University undergrad decided after visiting the Times, under the auspices of the paper’s Student Journalism Institute, that it was not the kind of place she envisioned herself working in the future professionally.
As it so happens, Gordon graduates this very month, although she won’t be walking in a cap-and-gown ceremony until spring.
