Hail to the Redskins During the 2020 NFL Draft (Virtually, of Course)

The football team and 7-Eleven are teaming up on the experience

The Washington Redskins joined the list of National Football League teams planning virtual events for the 2020 NFL Draft in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Redskins will kick off the proceedings on the club’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube) starting Thursday, April 23, with live coverage of the first round and analysis. The same applies to rounds two and three Friday, April 24.

For the remaining four rounds Saturday, April 25, the Redskins’ Virtual Draft Experience Presented by 7-Eleven will feature live coverage, exclusive fan giveaways and interviews with coaches and players.

Head coach Ron Rivera, quarterback Dwayne Haskins, vice president of player personnel Kyle Smith, former cornerback Fred Smoot and celebrity fans will take part from the safety of their homes, and “Voice of the Redskins” Larry Michael will host.
